Laugh when you can

Just read this from a friend's profile:

laugh when you can, apologize when you should, and let go what u cannot change, kiss slowly, play hard, forgive quickly, take chances, give everything and have no regrets. life is too short to be anything but happy.

Winners on Father's Day

It's Father's Day today, nothing to do with me though. I joined Sue and her  family to go to the Stadium  where people do the dog's racing. There is only one father in this group, Sue's son Robert.

Yes  I bet, but I  knew nothig about it.I didn't even bother to read the information in the leaflets .What  l did was just to stick to 2 numbers, hoping I could be good luck sometimes. Unfortunately I lost all the  9 races (we were a bit late, started from the 3rd race). Alex said I might win once this way if I keep going  there everyday for 5 years!

The last bet I decided to change the number, and I won ( 4 pounds) ! Robert is the biggest winner who gets 15, Alex comes 2nd, 14, and Sue 5.

God Listens!

I went to Rye yesterday and prayed in St Marry's Church, a church with over 900 years history. I prayed to God aking him to let me win the lottery.
God listens! This morning I checked my account and discovered that I had won £5.50!

Unfortunately I forgot to tell him how much I wanted to win.

How many times will you be lucky like this?

Last week I left my suitcase on a bus and yesterday I got it back from the bus company.

It’s the second time I left the same suitcase on the bus and got it back from the same place in the last two months.

And it’s the third time I left things on the bus and got them back in the UK.

Will I be lucky again if it happens again?

Heavy Snow

Bus services were cancelled, as were dozens of trains, and some airport runways were temporarily closed.
Much of the UK was blanketed in snow. It is said that the last time the UK saw such widespread snowfall was in February 1991.
Around 400 schools in Essex were closed.
Three appointments of mine were cancelled.
So no need to go to work or school for most people. Instead they could have fun in the snow.

It's your birthday Mark

Optimist

I cut my foot the other day and lots of things arranged have to be cancelled, including going to the spa.

Many people asked how it happened. In order to tell the story I pick up some words I seldom used before, such as bleed like a pig, vein, tile, stitches, heal up.

So they say I am an optimist.

Yes I am.

As the lyrics goes:Always look on the bright side of your life.

Virgin.(I’d like a virgin one.) You have mastered the English language.

Pieces of Xmas

It was a big dinner, the biggest of the year as it always. With 10 people sitting in two tables, the dining-room appeared a bit too crowded.

I didn’t get drunk, not the way I had hoped and promised —stand on the table, take off the clothes one by one, singing and dancing naked. In Sue’s words, that would be the most entertaining. She must be dissapointed not to see me being misbehaved.

At table the joke from the cracker I pulled is : Q: Why do cows lie down in the rain? A; To keep each udder dry. All people laughed when I read it out but I didn’t because I did not  know what the point was. I took udder for under. That’s why.

Boxing day today, it’s full of sunshine now.Not knowing what to do next, I may just be relaxed.

Merry Xmas

I’m happy because the dogs are happy playing with their Xmas gifts and I

do not get the flu ,

have been busy wrapping and sending out the presents and unwrapping those I receive,

feel so good when reading all those best wishes

am now waiting for the biggest dinner of the year…

I’m unhappy because

my laptop still deaf and dumb,

the digital camera given by Shan 6 years ago stopped working today and now in the bin,

Chris is moving to another city after the last champagne,

there is no signs of snow…

Mourning

Sometimes it happens,

You never hear  any news from someone you know

But when you do get news about him some day,

It is that—he passed away.

That’s the sad news I got today.

Our monitor Mr Shi at the Teachers’ College died of cancer.

Mr Shi,

You are still so young with a very good career

But you leave for ever and leave your beloved behind.

I was wondering,

If I said yes to that indirect request years ago,

Will it make your life longer?

You have been working so hard,

Mr Shi,  you could have a good rest now.

Touch Wood!

Cough, sneeze, running nose, headacke, sore throat, running tears….,5 people out of 6 in this house have been suffering since about two weeks ago.I’m the only one still seem ok at the moment. Touch wood.

Proudely I announce I’m  the smallest but the strongest, If I can still get away from it this season it’s almost a miracle. The reason I don’t get it I joke is the fact that Chinese have no free Medicine Servise as the English do.We have to keep heathy and strong enough to work hard to survive.

The First Xmas Gift

My first Xmas gift was received from Simon (the one in London not the Simon in China) yesterday. It’s been two years that he’s the first one to remind me with gift that Christmas is here soon.Last year I said I might not meet him again before Chrismas and I got no chance to give him some stuff in return. But he said  he was happy to  give and didn’t expect anything in return. This year he said the same and I did the same—a big hug for him.

He’s good at design and making things so it doesn’t surprise me when I get  a very beautigully wraped box.I don’t know what it is inside but I can feel the warmth and friendship it sends forth.

You may not see this but I wish you could hear me:Merry Christmas Simon.

I'm attactive, aren't I?

Andy is a very nice guy, gentle, generous and very careing, living alone and lonely in a big house a stones throw away from the sea.
One day he asked me: "Honestly,I'm attactive, aren't I?"
Looking at his big belly and extra fat which makes him  look so much older than those with his age 49,I shook my head and said: "Honestly,no.But if you lose 10 stones and go to the gym at least three times a week for at least 3 months ,after that maybe yes."
Guess what happened?--I didn't get the contract signed.
Then I realise what a mistake I've made.
And I start to doubt how serious when people say to me: You are attractive!

曾经一对情侣经过时,女孩儿回头说:I like those boots. That's nice...

It's Your Birthday,Simon

Tomorrow is your special day,
so celebrate in your favorite way

As time goes bye, The years
begin to fly.

But, you're only as old as you feel,
even when gray hair begins to yield.

Life is full of ups and downs. And you hurt your
jaw the other day.Luckily you can still chew.
So, always wear a smile, instead
of a frown.

Many wishes for days to come
and may your birthday be a very
extra special one.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Will you pay £800 for a hand bag?

Instead of "Nice weather, isn't it ?" ,Mark complemented this afternoon in London when we had coffee together: "A nice bag!"
Since I carried the Louis Vuitton. Paris last month, over 20 people have said that to me, some of whom are directly: "Is it real?"

An authentic Louis Vuitton. Paris.made in France of this kind costs up to £800.While most of the designer bags are extremely expensive, the most expensive Louis Vuitton bag that has been released in early 2007 was the “Louis Vuitton Tribute Patchwork bag.” At a jaw-dropping £23,484,it is one of the world's most costly handbag. No wonder people keep asking.

However, it is the most counterfeited brand in the world - just one per cent of all products claiming to be made by Louis Vuitton are genuine.
I paid less than £80 on it. You can tell now.

No winners

All people in this house bought something last night but none of us won anything out of that 100 million EuroMillions lottery .No suprise.
Anyway I have a happy birthday today.
Don't ask how old I'm.Can't remember that :-)

Happy Birthday tomorrow!

I'll wait tonight to see the result of this week's EuroMillions lottery .I bought 2 tickets.

Next estimated jackpot for today is:

£100,000,000

It's a Rollover.Imagine it's my birthday gift tomorrow!

Everything gone

For some reason, maybe I thought I was good enough if not as good as an expert, or maybe just because I was bored...,I tried  to do something to my leptop. Guess what? It corrupted, totally, completely without any mercy.Oh my word! Without LiuDan I just can't fix it.
Alex now is trying to restore it. The result will be again I lose everything, everything...
All those beautiful beautiful pictures kept there will be gone for good.Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
